Magny-Cours is a strange circuit, if we are honest. Strange, but fun. The circuit is located in the middle of the French countryside. Which is, of course, an ideal location. The layout of the track includes very flowing sections, after which such a flowing section is abruptly cut off by tight corners.
Think of the Adelaide bend, the 180-degree hairpin, Chateau d’Eau and the Complex du Lycée bend. Riding here is a unique experience. Magny-Cours is not only a great circuit for track riding in France. For many years, it was an important location for motorcycle racing. The prestigious Bol d’Or endurance race was held here from 2000 to 2014, after which it moved to Paul Ricard. Even now, the circuit is still on the list for major motor racing series such as WorldSBK.
