Like many circuits where we ride our motorbikes, the Hungaroring was originally designed as a car track. However, the circuit received a lot of criticism. It was said to be “extremely tight and narrow” and to have “unnecessarily many corners”. After this, the necessary modifications were made. However… the latter… we motorcyclists don’t mind that at all, of course.
There are still plenty of corners here. The Hungaroring offers a succession of short, tight corners and flowing sections. The straights are relatively short, so 600 warriors: your time to shine. A track day at the Hungaroring is guaranteed to be a great day out. Feel free to stay a few days longer. The circuit is only 20 kilometres from bustling Budapest. In the evening, enjoy the gastronomy and history of this beautiful Hungarian capital.
